Wireless Internet at FSOS

WiFi (Wireless Internet Access) at FSOS will be available to all members at our facility beginning January 1, 2009. The service includes A, B, G, and N and will work with most, if not all WiFi devices including laptops, IPods, MP3 players, and a host of other WiFi enabled devices. The service does not require any passwords or encryption, much like the WiFi provided at other facilities such as libraries, coffee shops, and bookstores. It can be accessed in our building, and up to 300 feet from the main entrance.

Users are cautioned, and urged to have the appropriate software on their devices to avoid computer hacking and piracy. Individuals needing help in setting up their laptops for use with the FSOS WiFi, contact Michael Callaghan for assistance. Happy surfing fellow Netizens!
